This book is about Shane, a man with a troubled past. While helping a town out of trouble, he is able to let go of his past.
The best part of the book was when Shane and Joe Starrett, the father of the family Shane was
staying with, let out their frustration on a huge stump by chopping the roots and removing the stump from the ground. The incident that occurred at the same time with Mrs. Starrett's pie is quite humorous.
My rating is: - I didn't want it to end!
